You may have thought that Crocs were having a “moment” due to the ridiculously long lines in front of their stores. Welp, that moment’s been simmering for a while and they’re now on fire. Yeah, Crocs have been featured in Vanity Fair, and have created limited-edition collabs with Post Malone, Diplo, and designer Christopher Kane, but now they’ve teamed up with art toy designer/muralist/street artist/fine artist Ron English for a limited edition collab that’s surely going to start a stampede in-store and online when it drops on July 7, 2021, at 10 am EST.
The Party Animals x Ron English by Crocs collection contains Crocs slides and clogs in animal prints, crazy colorways and patterns for everyone. Yep, you’ll find footwear for you, her and the kiddos, all designed by Ron English. Wait, wait, there’s more! English designed 15 jibbitz (shoe charms for Crocs) that were meant to appeal to both adults and kids that pair perfectly with the new shoes.
English explained his inspiration for the capsule collection in a press release, “Never go to a party empty-handed. I like to bring ART to the party. I think people should be expressive from their brains to their toes. Fun starts at the feet.” His shoes do exactly that. Add some personality and a jolt of color to anything you wear with a pair of his limited edition clogs or slides. Don’t forget the jibbitz for that extra extra.
The collection’s definitely wallet-friendly, and prices range from $34.99 to $64.99. At those prices, you could pick up a Party Animal slide and croc, and still have money left over to decorate them with the jibbitz he designed, too.
